Shelby Pease

Shelby has proudly called Metro Atlanta home since 1994. Orginally a history teacher, she transitioned into real estate in 1996, starting her career in property management as a Leasing Director. Her role involved securing corporate leases for a 350-unit multi family complex, pre-leasing in preparation for the 1996 Olympic Games, all while studying for her teacher certification. Three years later, she became a licensed agent with RE/MAX Gwinnett, joining one of its award-winning teams. 

She then shifted her focus to new construction sales, participating in the development of condominiums in Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown. Recognizing her strong work ethic, her broker entrusted her with exclusive listings for two new townhome communities in Atlanta, her first opportunity to represent builders. Building on the trust of developers and builders, she became a broker within a year, further expanding her relationships with builders in both Fulton and DeKalb counties. To facilitate her agents' access to the communities they served, she opened her firm, Lifestyle Realty Service at 191 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. 

She consistently updated her agents on industry trends and best practices every month. Her passion for education inspired her to establish the Lifestyle Realty Institute in 2014. The institute not only offered courses in property management and affordable housing but also facilitated job placements for attendees in multi-family communities, including Invitation Homes. Her expertise in property management did not go unnoticed; she took on a property manager role at Berkshire Hathaway's HomeServices Property Management Division, where she oversaw a portfolio of approximately 220 homes in the Greater Atlanta area working from their corporate location. In 2020, she stepped away to focus on family and to relaunch her firm. This same year, she was the recipient of the Lowe's 2020 Small Business Grant that acknowledged her work with Veteran housing. Her firm has now partnered with PROMOVE. This partnership provides access to over 750 luxury apartments in the Metro-Atlanta area, and presents a new opportunity in the booming apartment locating business. 

Throughout the years, she has established numerous valuable connections. Currently, Shelby and her husband collaborate as a cohesive team, frequently joining forces with other agents and brokerages. For them, the emphasis lies on building relationships, as the connections they nurture within the industry are crucial for supporting their clients' success.
